On a completely different subject, I've had a number of questions about the status of my emulation projects, and in particular whether I intend to update them for Apple Silicon. Game updates are free of charge for existing customers. Separately I've added background music to Dangerous Maggots, ICBMs Inbound, Meteor Field, Pompom Invaders, Triple Tint, and Vampire Riches. Bright Stones and Burning Turkey are the latest additions to the roster, which now comprises twenty-seven titles in total. I've been continuing to work on my classic game remakes over the last month. If you have the opportunity to help me promote these titles, I'd really appreciate it as of this writing they're not even close to covering costs, which is a pity given how much time and effort has gone into them.
Separately, all of my game remakes now include licensed music. There's not a lot of real world gain in going native unless you habitually run old games at ten or fifteen times actual speed, but it'd be remiss of me not to record the significant performance boost in BSNES in my tests a cloud-hosted Apple Silicon Mac Mini was able to maintain a steady 150fps using the accuracy core, some fifty percent faster than a 2020 Mac Pro.
